Republicans pivot back to taxes after Iran ceasefire, eye midterm election reset

California congressman and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell is under investigation by the Manhattan DA’s office after several women came forward accusing Swalwell of sexual misconduct. One of those women, a former staffer, alleges that Swalwell raped her in a New York City hotel room. The congressman has denied the allegations, calling them, “absolutely false.”
