Trump Says US Navy Will Blockade Hormuz in Major Escalation

President Donald Trump has announced a United States military blockade on the critical Strait of Hormuz after peace talks between Vice President JD Vance and Iranian negotiators in Pakistan broke down over the weekend. U.S. Central Command said it will prevent vessels entering or departing Iranian ports but won’t block non-Iranian ships. NBC’s Richard Engel reports for TODAY.
