Longtime Democratic Rep. David Scott dies at 80
Rep. David Scott (D-Ga.) has died at age 80, a senior House Democrat familiar with the matter confirmed to Axios. Driving the news: Scott served in Congress for more than 20 years. His death was first reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which had confirmation from his office. Scott's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Axios.
