Supreme Court rules 2024 Louisiana redistricting map is unconstitutional

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that a congressional map in Louisiana was a racial gerrymander even though it was drawn to comply with the landmark Voting Rights Act, which is aimed at protecting minority voters.
